( August 13, 1953 - Present)

Frank Steans is first and foremost a guitar player, born and raised in Indianapolis, and forever tied to the musical history at the corner of 54th and College Avenue.

From playing in a rock band at Crazy Al’s to A Place to Start, he is the pillar of the world-famous jazz club, The Jazz Kitchen – doorman, manager, emcee, engineer and all things in between. You may see him on stage as part of the Indy Guitar Summit or playing on a gig for Indy Jazz Fest or even singing a tune during the holidays.
